Import Contacts to BEZA WebMail Pro Print

  • 0

WebMail Pro can import contacts from comma-separated CSV files as well as from standard contact lists in vCard format (VCF files).

VCF format is preferred as it's standardized (while CSV is not). In case if you cannot use VCF, you'll need to make sure the CSV you'll use for importing has the columns with certain names and values (see CSV File Fields for more info).

To import contacts using vCard format file to BEZA WebMail Pro:

  1. Login to your BEZA WebMail Pro account.

  2. Once you have successfully logged in, at the top, click on Contacts:

Step 2 of Importing Contacts to WebMail Pro
  3. On the Contacts page, drag-and-drop your VCF (or CSV file) of contacts:

Step 3 of Importing Contacts to WebMail Pro
  4. That's it, you should now see the imported contacts on the left and clicking on a name should reveal the imported contact information on the right side:

To successfully import a CSV file, you must ensure the file has the correct fields:

CSV File Fields

WebMail Pro uses full name only, and if it is not available in CSV content, it is composed from First Name and Last Name.

In WebMail Pro database, birthday is actually split into 3 fields for day, month and year. Various separators are recognized, any of the following formats should work: DD.MM.YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY or DD-MM-YYYY. Notations which start from year (e.g. YYYY.MM.DD) are handled properly as well.
